A Life Long Dedication
In 1976 I began working with animals in a boarding
facility. A few years later I began working in a veterinary
hospital, obtained my state license, and continued my
veterinary work and education with animals in many
different areas of California, networking with others in
veterinary hospitals, training facilities, shelters, zoos, and
wildlife sanctuaries.
I recognized that being a Registered Veterinary Technician
would be a valuable asset to a pet sitting service.
Registered Veterinary Technicians are educated and licensed
by the California State Veterinary Board. We receive degrees
in Animal Science and receive training in Emergency
Medicine and CPR. A professional caregiver gives peace of
mind for many clients.
I started pet sitting in 1992 and continued to pet sit and
work in the veterinary field. After moving back to the
foothills, I have retired from the veterinary profession, but
keep my connection to the animals, through my work with
them.
